Credential Candidates

While credential candidates are not required to apply for graduation, they must register to participate in the Commencement ceremony, as well as follow the information sent out to all graduates regarding marchingorder and ticketing.

Credential candidates are not required to wear academic regalia, but instead wear professional attire. They will receive a credential cord on the day of Commencement during grad line-up. If they are receiving an undergraduate or master's degree in addition to the credential, they should wear regalia in the ceremony in which they are receiving their degree. They are welcome to walk twice, if they are receiving both their credential and their degree. They must listen for when it is their time to walk in the ceremony. Credential candidates will walk last in the School of Education portion of the ceremony.

All graduates (including credential candidates) will receive information in the coming months about ticketing and marchingorder. All graduate communications can also be found under Messages to Grads.
